Project management:

At Next Proto we have very systematic approach to project management. We are often dealing with more than 100 parts with different finishes, materials and processes with many different customers with different individual requirements. To manage all the variables and ensure projects are delivered successfully every time we have invested in developing our own quality management system to manage every step in the process from order placement to shipment.

Our mission is to provide our customers with a full service rapid prototyping with all the low cost and timing advantages with going direct to China. Continuously improve the cost, quality and deliverability by using technology and lean manufacturing techniques.

Quality:

Our quality level is as high as what you would expect from a prototyping company in the West or if no better. Our first strategy for controlling the quality is to do everything in house. Secondly we focus on controlling each step in the process and perform IPQC (In Process Quality Control – only possible if made in house) rather than relying on final inspection only. Due to the short lead times involved in rapid prototyping finding QC problems at the end before shipping is often too late. Thirdly we use only high quality materials from reputable distributers and manufacturers and most often imported. There are a lot of fake materials in China so the best way to control quality is controlling the source (again only possible if not outsourced).

Communication and technical advice:

Our engineers and project managers are employed based on their skills and knowledge to be able to serve our customers. After your project is kicked off you will be assigned a project manager to look after the project as a whole and an experienced manufacturing engineer for technical support. This removes 1 of the major frustrations with going direct to China. No more making unnecessary sketches and having to choose your words carefully as well as the added convenience of just being able to pick up the phone and speak to someone who understands.

Timing:

Next Proto factory operates 24 hours per day, 7 days per week so we can offer the fastest lead times guaranteed. Our dedicated project managers manage each project very closely so any risk to missing the scheduled shipping date can be avoided in the early stage and the necessary steps can be made to get the project back on track. This means we can offer greater deliverability to customers and faster lead times.
