China SLA Rapid Prototypes

We offer 3D printed prototypes, including SLA, SLS and DMLS parts. 3D printing is also called additive manufacturing. SLA is the abbreviation of Stereolithography. It uses photosensitive resin for laser chemical reaction to create parts. When the liquid resin is under ultraviolet light, it quickly turns into a solid state. The laser beam is controlled by a computer program and ran according to 3D CAD data, it changes the liquid into solidification wherever it has scanned. Those liquid not scanned yet will maintain the original state after a layer of scanning is completed. The lifting table decline after a layer height, the solid and liquid is apart, and the machine start a new laser beam scanning cycle. This process goes repeatedly, until the whole parts are formed.



SLA has the unique advantages and features compared to traditional manufacturing methods:


1, There’s no limit for complexity of the parts.

2, The price is very cost competitive for complex small parts, particularly good for new product development and production of single small batch parts.

3, The SLA machine produces the parts automatically according to the 3D CAD data, there is no such as tool changing or tool wear problem, so no operator is needed. This reduces a lot of labor cost.

4, The SLA process has no material waste, noise and vibration so it is very beneficial to environmental protection.

5, Digital production process is directly related with CAD model, parts can small or quite large. What you see is what you get, the parts can be modified at any time.

6, SLA can be combined with the traditional method very easily and can be used for rapid vacuum casting, rapid silicone tooling and small batch production parts. It facilitates the traditional manufacturing methods.
